Santa Monica: SoCalCats at Heal the Bay's 'Nothin' But Sand' Beach Cleanup
Saturday, April 21, 2018, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Location:
1600 Ocean Front Walk
Santa Monica, CA 90401

Hosted by the SoCalCats

Come help the SoCalCats as they volunteer for Earth Month!

We will join forces at Heal The Bay’s "Nothin’ But Sand" Beach Cleanup. Wear UA gear, sun protection, and a try to “go green” if possible by:

  • Bringing your own trash bucket and gloves
  • Using a reusable water bottle
  • Carpooling, using public transport, biking or walking to the event

This is a family-friendly event. We encourage you to bring your children and their friends so that they can learn about the importance of keeping our beaches and oceans clean. Just be aware that Heal The Bay requires volunteers under the legal age of 18 to have a parent/guardian-signed waiver and that volunteers 12 or younger also be accompanied by an adult.

When possible please help save paper by registering and signing the online waiver ahead of time via Eventbrite here. Everyone must fill out the waiver online or the morning of to participate.

This is a rain-or-shine event that will go on despite coastal drizzles but will be cancelled for lightening.

Directions:
This is just north of the Santa Monica Pier near lifeguard tower #15.
Ignore the map at the bottom of their Eventbrite page as the red marker pin is too far south!
