Panelists will discuss their career paths and best practices to attain their levels of success. They include:
- Kaila Lightner, head of new business innovation at Amazon Fashion
Lightner started her career in journalism, moving into marketing at Microsoft. She worked toward her MBA online through W.P. Carey, and then moved to Amazon where she has been since 2010. She started as a marketing lead in Kindle where she launched a new strategy for digital children's books and rotated to work in Amazon Prime, before coming to Softlines three years ago.
- Gain Jue, senior finance manager at Microsoft
Jue has over 10 years of finance and accounting experience, spanning a breadth of roles with increasing responsibilities in the aerospace manufacturing and technology industries. In her current role, Jue manages the financials for the finance operations organization at Microsoft and leads a team for commercials and contract management of shared services outsourcing agreements. In previous roles, she has overseen contractual agreements, strategic planning, forecasts, budgets, and internal audits in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
Stefany Blinn, senior experiential event manager, Zillow Group
With nearly 12 years of experience in corporate event strategy and management, Blinn has produced events for Pacific Northwest powerhouse companies including Microsoft, Alaska Airlines and Seattle Children's Hospital. Since joining Zillow Group in 2013, her focus has expanded to include designing and creating memorable events and marketing brand activations for B2B and B2C audiences. A road warrior and airport lounge enthusiast, Blinn spends a significant portion of the year traveling for events and adding to her collection of #windowseatwednesday photos.
Attendees will have the chance to network before and after the event with other alumni and interact with the panelists throughout the event.
