The Wildcat Toast & Taste is a signature scholarship fundraising event dedicated to honoring those who have defined what it means being a Wildcat for Life.
Because of events like this, the East Valley Alumni Chapter has provided over $30,000 annually in scholarships to deserving high school students, bringing the best and brightest minds from Maricopa Country to the University of Arizona.
This year's event will honor Kathleen "Rocky" LaRose. LaRose had a 35-year career as a leader and administrator in Arizona Athletics, and in 2009 she became the first woman in University of Arizona’s history to serve as director of athletics for a combined men’s and women’s intercollegiate program. Currently in her second career, LaRose is an award-winning photographer. Her stunning images have been featured on various magazine and books covers and in numerous articles.
Toast & Taste consists of a no-host cocktail hour, VIP meet-and-greet, raffle, dinner, and Q&A session with our emcee.
Registration deadline is midnight on Feb. 9.
