Cuba — Art, Culture and People

March 3, 2019 to March 11, 2019

Discover this beautiful island nation on a People-to-People educational exchange licensed by the U.S. Treasury Department. Explore Old Havana with a Cuban guide. Visit the University of Havana and an artist’s studio. Interact with local drivers in a vintage convertible along the waterfront and watch workers hand-rolling Cuba’s world-famous cigars at a factory. Venture to other parts of the island, too: Visit Las Terrazas, a model socialist community; experience the hospitality of a family of artists in Trinidad; and enjoy a musical performance in Cienfuegos. Throughout, lectures by local experts will enhance your understanding of Cuba and its people.
