• Karl and I met in the Fall of 2008, when I was a Junior and he was a Freshman. Karl and I were both working toward our BFA degrees in the School of Theatre, Film, and Television.

  • Usually without a date, my fraternity brother, fellow Bobcat Jeff Derickson '72 and his girlfriend, Pi Phi CeCe Bartow Derickson invited (convinced) my future wife to attend the Fiji open house in September after school had started.  
  • I had a blind date with my wife for a FIJI fraternity party. Linda was a Delta Gamma and one of her sorority sisters that was dating my fraternity brother set up the date. It was love at first site!! And still is almost 44 years later!

  • The first time I laid eyes on the love of my life was outside of the U of A bookstore, where I had just sold back my books.   • Bob and I met first week of freshman year at fraternity open house, 1961. We were lavaliered at Old Main fountain, 1962, pinned in 1964 and married in Phoenix 1967.

  • My Wildcat sweetie and I knew of each other in college through mutual friends, and hung around each other's circles for years.   It wasn't until after we graduated that we reconnected on the mall over a rousing game of corn-hole.  
  • The first time I remember seeing Jessica was while I was eating at the Park Student Union. I thought she was very cute and hoped I would get a chance to talk to her some time.

  • David and I met while washing dishes at a Valentine's Dinner/Dance at the Newman Center in 1976, and we've been washing dishes together ever since then. We were married in November of 1978. This year we celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Go Cats!
