Approximately 3,000 people attended a Celebration of Black Lives, June 6, on the University of Arizona Mall. They listened to speeches, stories and music at the event, organized by Black Lives Matter Tucson. The gathering was in remembrance of the recent deaths of Black Americans George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, and was described as a celebration of Black resilience.
