Tour the Mark Dimmitt Desert Plant Conservatory and learn about the diverse collection of unique cacti and other succulents housed there. Tours will take place at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
The collection was created as a special dedication to the renowned botanist Mark Dimmitt, whose support and role in the evolution of this collection has helped enrich its educational value. This hidden garden creates an inspiring environment for all to appreciate and learn about some of the most unusual, vibrant and fascinating plants that are found in arid climates.
The conservatory is located in the Sixth Street Parking Garage. Meet at the corner of Santa Rita Avenue and Lowell Street to await access to the facility.
