After graduating at the top of his class from the James E. Rogers College of Law, Kevin Boyle held the prestigious role of law clerk for U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist. For many attorneys, this would be the pinnacle of their career, but Kevin was just getting started.
Today, Kevin is a lawyer in Los Angeles, where he specializes in resolving large, high-profile cases across the country, including wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury and serious fraud. Through his work, he seeks to not only hold wrongdoers financially accountable but also force them to change their ways, and his success has been recognized with a host of awards and accolades.
Among his notable cases, Kevin served as co-lead counsel representing survivors and the family members of victims of the 2017 mass shooting in the Mandalay Bay resort in Las Vegas, helping secure an $800 million settlement. He also has helped win combinations of monetary and non-monetary settlements against major entities such as Pacific Gas & Electric and the board of directors of the Hewlett Packard Corporation.
Throughout his career, Kevin has remained a dedicated Wildcat, and in 2020 he made a $1 million lead gift commitment toward the College of Law’s initiative to create state-of-the-art courtroom facilities for students to practice their skills as advocates. In recognition of his generosity, the new space will be named the Kevin R. Boyle Courtroom.
Kevin is one of the best advocates and trial attorneys in the country, a credit to his profession and to the university.
