Please join the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering and Mechanics for a water-focused symposium on the challenges and pathways for ensuring sustainable water resources in Arizona.

This year, we are excited to announce that our Centennial Lecturer will be Ms. Leslie Meyers, Associate General Manager & Chief Water Resources & Services Executive of the Salt River Project. Ms. Meyers will be broadly surveying State of Arizona water resources challenges and activities for long-term water resources planning and management.

In addition to our Centennial Lecture, the event will include a panel discussion with water-leaders from our city, county and regional water-partners, and a brief presentation on activities between the University of Arizona and local/regional partners for moving towards a Net-Zero Urban Water framework for arid/semi-arid urban areas in the Southwest.
