John Hughes
John Hughes was a writer, director, and producer. He wrote and directed some of the most successful comedy films of the 1980s and early 90s, including "National Lampoon's Vacation" and its sequels, and "Mr. Mom."
His work includes pioneering entries in the teen movie genre like "Sixteen Candles," "Weird Science," "The Breakfast Club," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," "Pretty in Pink" and "Some Kind of Wonderful."
