These are some of the sentiments expressed by those who are supporting students through an ongoing crowdfunding campaign for the Student Emergency Fund and Campus Pantry, which provides food at no cost.
Many students have been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and are struggling to pay for necessities such as housing, utilities and food. The Student Emergency Fund is in place to help cover expenses that could otherwise cause them to withdraw.
The campaign has attracted the support of the Wildcat community. At press time, more than 900 people had given, and the donor wall was full of remembrances of those who have passed as well as dedication shoutouts.
