We’ve also got news about some fascinating research being done at the Sarver Heart Center into adapting familiar drugs for novel — and potentially life-changing — uses, a close look at an original Old Main brick and the Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium’s stained glass, and the first of what will be several stories commemorating the hundredth anniversary of Bear Down. The Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement team, overseen by the University of Arizona Foundation, serves more than 300,000 former University of Arizona students, creating a community for Wildcats to remain connected to their alma mater and to each other. Arizona alumni give back to their communities in 50 U.S. states and in more than 150 countries. We foster alumni connections and are the gateway to the university through resources such as alumni chapters and clubs, communications and special events.
