She has held several influential academic positions, including associate dean for research, innovation and translation at Oregon Health & Science University School of Nursing and co-director of its Center for Research on Symptom Management in Life-Threatening Illness. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, she received the Oregon Nurses Association’s Nurse Researcher Award in 2002, and she is a fellow of both the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Nursing.
Anne returned to the U of A College of Nursing as associate dean of research in 2012, where she mentored the next generation of nurse scientists and advocated for excellence in health care.
For her exceptional contributions to nursing education, research and practice as well as to the college and its students, the University of Arizona is proud to name Anne Rosenfeld the 2026 Alumna of the Year for the College of Nursing.
