The Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine campus, now in the design phase, will be an educational center to further the pioneering work of Andrew Weil. The new space will transform health care by training a new generation of health professionals and by continuing to empower individuals and communities to optimize health and well-being through evidence-based, sustainable, integrative approaches.

By valuing the built environment as an essential component of integrative health, the center’s new home will serve as a beacon of health innovation for buildings everywhere by pushing the boundaries of integrative health into workspaces using science-based principles.

Dr. Weil’s Preventative Medicine Tips During COVID-19

COVID-19 is probably going to be with us for some time. The sooner enough people get vaccinated to achieve herd immunity in our population, the sooner the pandemic will subside. Meanwhile, an integrative approach to prevention is key.

1. Practice good hygiene, including wearing masks and observing social distancing appropriately.

2. Maintain good habits of nutrition, physical activity, rest and sleep, and stress management.

3. Use natural remedies to strengthen defenses.
