Sunita Mishra is the chief medical officer for Amazon Health Services, which aims to make it easier to find, choose, afford and engage with the products and professionals needed to get and stay healthy. Throughout her career, Sunita has focused on developing models of care that create a sustainable clinician experience while delivering a higher-quality, human experience for patients. She practiced as a primary care physician for over 20 years in the U.S. and Singapore, and prior to her current role, she scaled and ran the medical group for Amazon Care. She joined Amazon after eight years at Providence, where she served in several roles including vice president for consumer innovation and chief executive of express care. Sunita received her bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of Arizona, her clinical training from the University of Washington, and her MBA from the University of Pennsylvania.
